All scores produced by our calculators are unofficial estimates. They are generated by client-side math using representative section weights and cut points. They are not official AP scores and carry no official standing.

Scores are approximations only

Our estimates are approximations intended to help you gauge your progress on practice exams. They should never be treated as a definitive prediction of your final result. Two students with the same estimate can receive different official scores.

Results may vary by year

The College Board sets the exact score thresholds (cut points) after each exam administration through a process called equating. Because those thresholds change every year based on exam difficulty, an estimate that maps to a 4 one year might map to a 3 or a 5 in another.
